Liberty in Action: Pack Self-Guided Tour of Historic Philadelphia

Join Pack 17 families for a fun and affordable self-guided adventure through Historic Philadelphia! Families will travel together by train from Hatboro Station and explore some of America’s most important historical landmarks including the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Franklin Court, Elfreth’s Alley, and more.

Pack 17 Scouts, it’s graduation time! This year we celebrate “Liberty in Action” as part of America’s 250th—honoring the spirit of freedom by living it through service, teamwork, and adventure. Scouts who participate in our pack meeting and upcoming summer events will have the opportunity to earn a special commemorative patch.

Hatboro Community Day

Hatboro Community Day is an annual free event held at the Hatboro Memorial Pool, celebrating the borough’s summer season with music, food, activities, and community engagement. Pack 17 will have a sign up table for new families, and we are looking for helpers. Come for the day, volunteer for an hour while your kids swim and play!

Recruiting Event: Hatboro Earth Day Celebration

Pack 17 will be celebrating Earth Day with a fun, hands-on recruiting event, and we're inviting families to help us showcase what Scouting is all about—service, community, and getting our hands a little dirty. 

We Need Your Egg Cartons!!

As you may have seen, the pack will have an activity/recruiting table at the upcoming Hatboro Earth Day celebration. Our activity will be to have kids plant native seeds in cardboard egg cartons to take home and transplant once they're growing. Please save your cardboard egg cartons and bring to the event, or contact Mrs. Wills or Mrs. Earp to arrange drop-off or pickup.
